This series of printmaking workshops on the theme of "Home" was developed with local residents, arts-workers from the area and the commissioned artist, Mary Fitzgerald. Through the project, Fitzgerald purchased a printing press, which is permanently housed in Axis and is in the custody of the local arts community. An exhibition of the local participants’ prints took place in Axis in autumn 2003, with many of the works selling to members of the public. Local artists and various community workers continue to make full use of the printing press.
