Joyce Duffy

Joyce Duffy undertook a lengthy period of research in Ballymun, from 2005 to 2008, during which time she concentated on various aspects of human rights.

Undertaking research within the community alongside Amnesty, the Ballymun Human Rights Project (BHRP), and the Ballymun Community Law Centre, Joyce made a series of collages, which were produced in a limited edition book, in late 2008. This publication is available directly from Breaking Ground. Featuring collages made over 3 years, themes of power, politics and the individual voice are deilvered with Joyce's unique wit and observation. The book is a linen bound, embossed, hard back cover, with spot uv printed inlay sleeves and full color thoughout.

An artist who creates performance art on the theme of the politics of power, Joyce will stage a performance in early 2009 - details to be announced shortly.
