The Four Horsemen

The Four Horsemen was written, directed and produced by Robert Kelly and features Ruth Negga and Feidlim Cannan. Kelly a filmmaker from Ballymun was commissioned as part of BG2’s Local Artists’ Commissions competition which was open to artists who lived, worked or were born in Ballymun.
The Film is set in a post apocalyptic world and tells the tale of a drifter who
enters a suburb to find it desolate and destroyed – the aftermath of a forgotten exodus. The Four Horsemen was shot on Super 16mm film at various locations in Ballymun and also the Peppercannister church.It was screened in May 2006 and has subsequently been selected for various film festivals.
